Kris Schinke

Kris believes giving back is the greatest reward.

Kris is a focused and goal-oriented business professional with extensive executive experience in retail, financial services and not-for-profit. She has a passion for inspiring and coaching others and believes a positive work culture is key for business growth and sustainability. She is adept in training, leadership and promoting teamwork.

Kris engages in business mentoring, professional coaching to help leaders and businesses with organizational management, serving as a trusted advisor and sounding board. Kris believes leadership and executive coaching offers the insights and guidance to help leaders and entrepreneurs achieve their desired outcomes, with confidence and purpose. She believes everyone has potential, if they are willing to execute, and take action.

Kris is an avid volunteer and loves to donate time and effort to a variety of organizations. Since 2019, Kris has been a business mentor with ERIEC (Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council), working with professional newcomers for job placement and career advancement. This role also has also offered some personal benefits, such as improving knowledge about multicultural leadership and competencies, and D, E, & I initiatives.

A proponent of personal development, Kris has her Distinguished Toastmaster designation from Toastmasters International and her Life Coaching Certification from New Skills Academy. She also attended Harvard Business School (A Culture of Health in Business) and Norquest College (Inclusion at Work, Business Economics). She holds an MBA from Athabasca University, published her first book in 2020, According to Wolfgang, My Business, a business reference book based on her entrepreneurial father’s successful equestrian business. Kris and her husband, Brian, call Edmonton home, despite having lived in several Canadian cities. Kris likes to keep active riding horses, running on the trails near her home and working out at the gym.

Brent Collingwood

With over a decade of coaching, consulting, and facilitating, Brent Collingwood has earned a reputation as a go-to resource in helping clients reach into the realm of possibility. Whether coaching a senior executive or facilitating a strategic planning session, Brent acts as a thinking partner, helping the organization establish and ultimately achieve its planned goals.

Brent holds a Master of Education in Leadership and Change, is a Certified Facilitative Leader, a Certified Executive Coach (CEC), and a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF).

Brent’s leadership experience in business, post-secondary and the non-profit sector allows him to bring extensive knowledge and experience to the table. Brent had the privilege of working as an international hospitality executive throughout southeast Asia and authored the book ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOUR – Appropriate Conduct for the Business Traveller to Japan.

In his postsecondary career, Brent served as Senior Director with the Alberta School of Business Executive Education department, overseeing many Leadership Development programs and the Directors Education Program in collaboration with the Institute of Corporate Directors. He has also served in the non-profit sector, both in the Chair role and in senior management. Most recently Brent served as Chair of Synergy Networking Group, Chair of the Board of the River Valley Alliance, and three years as its Executive Director. Brent and Mike Mack have enjoyed a long-standing relationship since 2005 through their involvement in Rotary International and Synergy Network (Edmonton). They are collaborating in supporting business clients through Coaching, Consulting, and Facilitation.

Brent is an active and proud Rotarian and has held many leadership positions in Rotary International including President of the Riverview Rotary Club; Chair of the Rotary District Foundation Committee; Chair of the District Learning & Development Committee; and Chair of the Rotary Leadership Institute. Brent has been selected to serve as District 5370’s Governor in 2023-24.

Brent and his wife Adele live in Edmonton and enjoy the many recreational and cultural amenities Edmonton has to offer, including walks in the River Valley, the Symphony, and live theatre. Brent is an avid landscape photographer and has published two books showcasing his photography.

Gordon Sheppard

Gord believes in empowering leaders to grow their organizations.

Gord is a Consultant, Trainer and Facilitator who is passionate about helping leaders to grow their organizations. Because he knows that when your organization is strong then everybody wins including your staff, customers, suppliers and ultimately your community.

From strategic planning to conflict resolution, process improvement to helping leaders take action, Gord applies more than 25 years of business experience. He also has an MBA, is a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants, and he is Prosci Change Management Certified, which gives him a wealth of proven strategies that he can use to help clients succeed.

He is also the author of the ‘Meeting Leadership Solution’ which offers a 10-step system to help leaders improve the overall productivity and profitability of their business meetings. Gord has also built the ‘Ask A Business Expert’ community, which features a website and YouTube channel that helps leaders find expert answers to their most important business questions. As a podcast host Gord’s shows have over 20,000 downloads, and the ‘Meeting Leadership Podcast’ has helped thousands of professionals to improve their meeting productivity.

Gord is also a proud husband, father, and brother. He loves playing hockey, tennis, hiking in the mountains and taking his dog Freckles for walks in the neighborhood.

He is also passionate about volunteering. He has served as the President of the YEG Passport Rotary Club (2020- 21), and he was a proud member of 100 Men YEG, which helped to raise over $300,000 dollars for 50+ Edmonton area charities.

Priscilla Bahrey

As a project manager, speaker, trainer, facilitator and coach, Priscilla has passion for inspiring people to maximize their personal and professional potential. Drawing on over 20 years of experience leading teams, facilitation, training, consulting, and coaching, she sees rewards by building competencies within individuals and organizations. I have had the pleasure of contributing to the success of thousands of leaders, teams, and individuals.

To every facilitation or coaching engagement, Priscilla brings her motivational communication style, down-to-earth approach, and real-life experience to facilitate lasting change, both virtually and in person. As a PMP Certified Consultant, she shares her experience gained through various consulting engagements in finance, government, technology, oil and gas, higher education, and engineering and lean manufacturing sectors.

One of the most challenging opportunities is to support clients and teams through transition and supported clients through organizational change and help them to realize success. Priscilla’s ORSC (Organizational Relationship Systems Coaching) training has brought a fresh approach to leadership coaching, facilitation, and instructional design. ORSC tools and concepts unlock potential in people that sometimes they are not aware of and helps teams to overcome challenges and collaborate in a more effective way.

She is an accredited coach with ICF (International Coaching Federation) Areas of expertise: Training, Consulting, Coaching, Project Management, Leadership development, Conflict resolution and Change management. Intercultural experience: She has lived and embraced different cultures and loves working with diverse cultures and backgrounds. She is fluent in Spanish and has worked with people from different Spanish-speaking countries and is able to adapt to their needs.

PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATOR

Jody Craig

Jody is passionate about supporting the community and making a difference.

Jody is the Principal Administrator for the team at X5 Management and keeps the X5 team organized with ongoing projects and supporting X5’s valued clients in the areas of preparing for Training, Coaching or Strategic Planning projects.

Jody partners with businesses like X5 Management providing both virtual and in-person support to create and update processes, solve problems, recommend, and implement solutions.

It was a 30-year journey working with mentors and peers in different industries and completing public relations and special events courses that provided insight and confidence for her to launch Viewpoint Executive Solutions in February 2019.

Jody originally designed the business model to help senior executives streamline their office operations. Through the development of Viewpoint Executive Solution’s business model, she discovered that her true calling was helping the small business owner, small to medium-sized businesses, community leagues, associations, and charities.

Helping others and giving back is an important part of Jody’s business model. She is an active volunteer and helps to organize events while supporting and providing board member mentorship. Jody seeks to learn and keeps current with training and courses. She holds a NAIT Diploma in Secretarial and Office Administration and has completed public relations and special events program courses.

Family and being active are very important to Jody, and she enjoys acreage lake life with her male partner and spending time with her daughter and family.

Matt Graff

Matt is an advocate for collaboration and enhanced team communication to stimulate organizational growth.

As an experienced consultant and facilitator and the Director of Business Operations with X5 Management, Matt has a passion for helping organizations succeed through team development, sales strategy and group facilitation.

Matt helps align all of the moving parts of a business for sustainable growth, motivating organizations to improve communication internally and externally to promote customer service excellence while keeping the sales pipeline full. An experienced speaker, Matt connects with all participants and audiences, including CEO’s, sales & service professionals, operations managers, supervisors, and entrepreneurs.

Matt was born and raised on his family farm near Ferintosh, and continues to believe in the importance of rural development and community involvement. Matt is dedicated to agricultural sustainability and is an experienced manager of resources, production and people in agri-business.

Matt holds an MBA from the University of Alberta and appreciates working with other energetic and motivated individuals to facilitate, develop and implement customized business solutions.
